so i'm sitting in my pitch-black apartment preparing to shut down my computer as i observe earth hour 08. pretty exciting. i really do feel like i'm doing something, however small, to facilitate the idea that it's ok for christians to care about the environment with fervor. i wish i had really done more before now to get my friends and family involved. hmmm. i guess earth hour doesn't just have to be a one-time thing, right? why not try this a lot? get loads of people involved. sounds good. ok...time for me to shut everything off.

hey, so this really doesn't have anything to do with your blog entry (but i am proud of you for taking part in earth hour) it's just that i was going to write you a facebook message then i noticed a new entry and i read it, and i ended up here. Anywho, Matt Bonds is in waco with me for the night and earlier in conversation he just said casually, yeah I was talking to Dan last week and blah, blah, blah (what you said wasn't important). And I racked my head trying to figure out who this Dan was that apparently was a mutual friend for us, and I realized he was talking about you, and then I was thrilled. So all that to say, I was thrilled to hear your name tonight. Hope you had a good earth hour.
